Effingham County Courthouse

This new complex serves as the home for the County's courtrooms, judicial support functions, and offices for Superior and Magistrate Judges. The facility is located adjacent to the original historic courthouse and draws many architectural cues from this significant building.

The exterior uses stone, brick, and glass in a design reflecting the dignity of the courts and the predominate civic architecture of southeast Georgia. The building faces the downtown park containing monuments to Effingham County's past veterans as well as a community time capsule. The opposite side of the building faces the major downtown thoroughfare of Springfield and is the largest structure in that area.

Human Resources Office for Chatham County

This two-story office building, located on Oglethorpe Square in downtown Savannah, houses Chatham County’s Human Resources Department. Services provided by this department include job applicant interviews and testing as well as existing and retired employee benefits management and similar concerns.

The building was completely renovated and the principle entrance was relocated to provide barrier-free accessibility to accommodate individuals with disabilities. It also achieved LEED Silver Certification for Commercial Interiors.
